Fourscore and twenty years ago....well, let's start with ten...

10 years ago I:

   -decided never to go to college

   -rediscovered the joys of writing

   -had no idea what I wanted to do with my life

   -didn't want to leave small-town Shoals

5 years ago I:

   -came of age=)

   -moved into my first apartment with my best friend

   -was a full-time nanny

   -was in love with the city

3 years ago I:

   -returned to college after a 4-year break

   -sang in GBS choir

   -made a wonderful new friend

1  year (give or take a little) ago I:

   -started to recall how fun and peaceful living in 

    the country is

   -watched my youngest and last brother get married

   -directed a blood-drive at my college

Yesterday I:

   -helped two amazing little boys do their homework

   -listened to the Pride&Prejudice soundtrack

   -missed my mum, dad, and three brothers

Today I:

   -decided to forgo boots(the warmer option) and 

    danced thru my day in golden slippers

   -ate gourmet Mexican(food, not a person) with Ivone

   -went grocery shopping(I love it!)

   -made cookies for a family

   -wished upon a star(actually I prayed, that's more
    effective but stars are so much more poetic)

Tomorrow I:

   -will wake up(hopefully......hehe)

   -brush my teeth(see Mum, I haven't forgotten 
    everything)

   -will not have Statistics class(yay....no offense, Mr. 
    Profit)

   -go to Frankfort with friends  

   -expect fun exciting things to happen

1 year from now I:

   -Who am I kidding?! I have no idea what I will be 
    doing! 

    Hopefully it will involve foster children.............=)
